In the Beginning . . .
In the beginning, long-ago before kids, Sherri was a computer programmer. She programmed in COBOL (not C, HTML or even Java). Today, she set out to join the new and fascinating world of her amazing blogger friends!
Wahoo! Hi, Sherri! Any friend of Katherine's is sooo totally a friend of mine. I'm Emily, age 19, college sophomore, and total fan of Katherine, so I'm super psyched to read your blog too! I don't really post that much, but feel free to come visit :-) Good luck and have fun!

Ah, a fellow geek (though I learned to program in BASIC and keep it simple--I just do CSS and HTML though I have done Linux. :)) Hubby is a programmer (C++ though he learned COBOL in high school and college.) It is a very different computer world now, isn't it.
Sure is a different computer world--I remember in my day our school had one computer and we were learning foretran. I remember my dad using 'Punchcards' with his home business in the 1970's.
Just popping over from Katherine's blog to say hello!
:)
LOVE the adorable photo! The only thing I love better than my husband or son are my husband and son together. Melts my heart. What a darling duo you have!

Howdy from Texas! I remember those days of you sitting at your computer and warning me not to vacuum near your computer!
I love that you're doing this - I'll be able to know more about your life since we so seldom get to talk.
Love you!
